David Bowles does wonderful things for animals and the environment.

As a big cheese at the RSPCA, David campaigns hard to bring positive change to issues involving animals as pets, in farming, in fashion and in research. To successfully change laws in these contentious areas, as David has done many times, it requires huge amounts of research and unbridled pesistance, so our Battlefronters had better get ready to work their butts off!

Before the RSPCA, David worked at the Environmental Investigation Agency, campaigning on wildlife trade issues, which took him out to South East Asia investigating the treatment of primates. And prior to that, David worked at Chessington Zoo, hanging out with carnivores and five years at Jersey Wildlife Preservation Trust, working with endangered animals. There’ll be no monkeying around for our Battlefronters though – David is serious about changing the world and is ready to get behind their campaigns.
